The longing of both of our hearts is to see people encounter JESUS, spiritually, practically and supernaturally. We long for REVIVAL to sweep the earth in an unprecedented way!
As of late, we’ve both been launched into passions that have been lying dormant since our childhood. We feel that what we’ve experienced and learned over the years was a preparation for the most exciting part of our ministry – that which is yet to come!
Richard: I have always had the gift of compassion and a dream to work in the medical field:
In 2008, I joined the YWAM-ministry Rescue Net which brings first-response disaster relief into areas hit by tsunamis, earthquakes etc. I am passionate about this ministry and have recently completed training as an “Emergency Medical Technician”.
I am now starting to develop “RescueNet” in New Zealand, hoping to mobilize many to get trained in this field in order to be Jesus’ hands and feet to the desperately hurting, as well as going myself into disaster-areas.

Isabel: Besides being primarily a mother to our 5 children (1 from NZ, permanently fostered), I got a “green light” from the Lord to finally pursue my passion and childhood dream to help orphans. After a first, exploratory trip to Uganda with Richard in November 2010, I am more motivated than ever to invest my time and energy to come alongside wonderful existing orphan ministries to raise awareness, prayer and financial support for them.
One absolutely fabulous ministry that we got to know in Uganda is the YWAM-ministry Orphans kNOw More
This summer, our family is traveling through the USA (and a little bit Canada) to raise awareness, prayer and funds for OKM.
"Orphans kNOw More" is a relationally based partnership working to give orphans a Face, a Family and a Future. A pilot project assists Ugandan families caring for 150 HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children.
The QUALITY of care and the devotion of these parents for their adopted children is incredibly admirable!!! (We got to meet many of them)
We are dreaming with the local African leaders to expand this pilot project to 2000+ orphans (adopted by African families in Uganda).
When the time is right, we also hope to help multiply this beautiful and valuable ministry into the rest of Africa, particularly French Africa.

do many small things
can alter the face of the world.
